Our history
Innovation never stands still. Since 1984, we’ve challenged conventional and liquid handling and logistics with solutions that squeeze more to waste less.
But this is just the beginning.
[[Pioneers]] never follow the familiar path
In the early 1970s, our founder Christian Wiklund observed inefficient bulk liquid transport methods while watching orange juice concentrate shipped from Brazil to Europe.
Steel drums wasted space, time, and product. “There must be a better way”, he envisioned.

The [[spark]]
Wiklund conceived a flexible, closed system to protect product quality from production to end-use.
With colleagues Alf Knutar and Tom Stenmark, they tested, tested and tested; filling prototype bags with water, stretching them to capacity, and optimized their durability.
No authority standards existed for what they were creating. So, they developed them too.
Engineering [[breakthrough]]
In 1984, the company then named “Fluid-Bag” officially began.
Within a year, the innovation earned recognition as the biggest news at the Scanpack Fair. International praises followed, including the prestigious WorldStar award in 1986.
Our partnership with Solving in 1987 provided the engineering capability to develop the first semi-automated production lines, a critical advancement in scaling our solution.
[[Growth]] through precision
Throughout the 1990s, we focused on addressing end-user challenges: product quality, waste reduction, and logistics efficiency. By 1998, our clients included global leaders like Nestlé, Bayer, and Shell.
The early 2000s brought significant innovations to our system. New bag designs and discharge equipment made our solution superior for high-viscosity products. We strengthened our quality standards with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and later FSSC 22000 certifications.
Innovation is best [[together]]
In 2007, we collaborated with customers in the pharmaceutical industry to elevate our production hygiene standards – allowing us to better serve food, cosmetics and pharma industries.
Product development and tailoring solutions together with our customers has been part of our DNA since the beginning.
Squeezing [[forward]]
The transition from “Fluid-Bag” to the “Squeeze Solution” brand in 2025 reflected our core mission. We want to keep challenging conventional thinking to squeeze more value from every drop. Not just for our customers, but for the world we live in.
Squeeze more, waste less.
